Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/3 Cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • 3/4 Cup M&Ms

Instructions
 

  • Start by preparing the kitchen - grabbing utensils, measuring ingredients and preheating the oven to 350ºF.
  • Spray a 9-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a standard mixture, combine the butter and sugars. Mix until smooth.
  • Slowly add the vanilla and the egg.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly mix dry mixture into the butter mixture. Mix, just until combined.
  • Slowly fold in the chocolate chips, M&Ms, and other desired candies.
  • Pour the dough into the prepared pan, then smooth the top with an offset spatula.
  • Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool before cutting.
