- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 1/3 Cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 3/4 Cup M&Ms
Start by preparing the kitchen - grabbing utensils, measuring ingredients and preheating the oven to 350ºF.
Spray a 9-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
In a standard mixture, combine the butter and sugars. Mix until smooth.
Slowly add the vanilla and the egg.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
Slowly mix dry mixture into the butter mixture. Mix, just until combined.
Slowly fold in the chocolate chips, M&Ms, and other desired candies.
Pour the dough into the prepared pan, then smooth the top with an offset spatula.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool before cutting.
